In our years of service, we witness first hand that jewellery means more than just beauty to our customers. For some people, it’s a form of expression or confidence, but for others, it helps to strengthen bonds and love.
It is our pleasure to interview Doreen, a complete non-jewellery person sharing with us her discovery of the beauty of jewellery.
Story behind Doreen
Articulate, smart and kind, Doreen was beautiful to film and photograph, it’s hard not to fall in love with her effortless bright smile.
Doreen is a creative copywriter, she told us that she only discovered the type of jewellery she liked after she started working, having disposable income to survey what in the market suits her.
To us, we have met customers who initially expressed that they rarely wear jewellery, because either they thought it was too elaborate or they did not know how to match their clothing with accessories!
Our advice is to take little steps, it’s usually the simplest of designs that suits everyday wear. Just a little bit of simple bling can bring out your choice of clothes and your personality so much more!
Sometimes a little bit of inspiration or demonstration helps. It takes time or a good friend to show how a piece of jewellery can easily match with your wardrobe.
For Doreen, it was seeing what her colleagues were wearing for that inspiration!
Her most memorable experience with JEOEL was when her fiance proposed to her with our Sapphire Joy ring. She fell in love at the moment she laid her eyes on it.
Sapphires are a top choice and frequently requested natural gemstone from our customers, and it’s not hard to see why! Its dark blue colour makes it easy to match with any outfit, and Sapphire also represents joy, peace and loyalty.
The detail of White Topaz surrounding the precious Sapphire ring symbolizes he will be like the White Topaz, surrounding Doreen, the precious Sapphire forever and always.
Shout out to the men out there who are actively seeking for an extraordinary piece for your loved ones with an affordable price. Check out Doreen’s full sharing of her perceptions on jewellery from the video below:
